On June 19, 2026, Dasia Hood,“Hood Deity”, delivered a raw, soul-stirring set for a Juneteenth event curated by Jameila Davis. Her voice moved through a potent lineup: the timeless ache of “Amazing Grace,” the intimate yearning of “More, a melody,” the fragile confession of “Losing My Mind,” the deep, mythic currents of “Davy Jones’ Locker,” and the triumphant, otherworldly ascent of “Valhalla.”
Blaine Goodwin remastered the performance audio, preserving the immediacy and emotional truth of each moment while honing clarity and presence. Cover photography by Jason Dawkins captures the gravity and grace of the evening.
