Dasia Hood, performing as "Hood Deity," is a poet, spoken word artist, and curator whose work explores multidimensional self-expression, divine reclamation, emotional intensity, and sensuality. Her love for the craft was passed down by her mother, who taught her the power of journaling to process life's complexities, spirituality, and passion.

Extending this practice to the community, Hood teaches poetry across generations to foster communal healing and celebrate poetic expression within Black culture, carrying this dedication into her life as a mother, founder of Dark & DivineĀ®, and creative director of Dark & Divine Journal.
